Auckland District Health Board
ADHB - FIRP PROGRAM
ADHB is looking to upgrade over 50 lifts across its Auckland and Greenlane sites. Vertical transportation is an essential component of any hospital and the upgrade includes some of the most critical and most used lifts in New Zealand including those supporting ICU, Theatres, Helipad and CSSD. Bluewater has been engaged for the overall management and delivery of this project.
Panuku Development Auckland
Takapuna Civil Diversion Works
Design Management, Procurement and Construction Management services have been provided for these works that involved the diversion of sewer and stormwater services to enable the development of a key central Takapuna vacant lot. The stormwater works have been designed to accommodate an overland flow path in a 1 in 100 year event, installed around and the relocation of an existing network of services at a depth of up to 9 meters with a portion of which was through basalt rock.

Barrowcliffe Bridge Project
Procurement and Construction Management services are being provided for the Barrowcliffe Place Streetscape Upgrade in Manukau for Panuku Developments. This upgrade of the streetscape and bridge will provide a vital and welcome link for pedestrian, cycle and vehicle access to and from central Manukau and the train and bus stations to new housing developments on the far side of the motorway.

Officemax – Solar Power Project
The Solar Power Project that is being installed on the Officemax Warehouse is 271.32KWP which will produce 1379KWh of electricity per year. This will be the 5th largest installation in NZ with 798 solar panels and able to supply the whole of Officemax’s warehouse and operations.

Mason Clinic – Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade
The upgrade of the electrical infrastructure at the Mason Clinic allows WDHB to facilitate a number of new initiatives whilst planning and construction of a new energy centre is finalised. The project comprises of the provision of a containerised switch, a new transformer, and a new containerised generator, the associated connections of the above equipment and interfacing with the existing ring main.

SUBSTATION FACADE RECTIFICATION
Investigation, design and construction management of a façade and roof failure that was enabling water ingress into the substation. The main challenges of this project were ensuring the design met the Client’s long term requirements for the site, and ensuring appropriate construction safety whilst working within a live electrical environment.
